Once you have compiled your article and reviewed it for content, spelling and structure, you will find a number of suitable titles for your writing. I always like to write my articles about a specific topic but never title the article until I have completed my writings. This makes it easier to find a suitable, relevant title to whatever my articles final outcome may have evolved into.

Once you've noted several different titles that can be used for your writing, then you can make a choice of which one best describes your overall content of your article. A good example here would be if you were writing about blogging, you could use the title of "Writing Blogs is Fun" may be a general title that has no meaning to the individual who is interested in blogging for promoting his or her business. A title of "Blogging to Promote Your Business Opportunity" may be more appropriate. Use your imagination a little here, and soon your writing will evolve into a powerful medium of communication.

As you progress in your writing and blogging skills you will find it much easier each time you write, to come up with an effective title. Practice makes perfect in this particular case. The more you write the better you will be at writing. You will find there is a particular segment of readers that will relate to your writings and will make it a point to subscribe to your RSS feeds so they can keep up with your writings because they like your style. You will create a following of avid, loyal readers that one day may become your next best customers.

Just remember, your headline is what is going to get the attention of the reader in almost every case. Make the headline catchy, write good relevant content in the body of your article and consistently write and blog in an effort to hone your skills in writing until writing becomes a second nature to your everyday activity.

You can look at any issue you face, from many different perspectives. A good example of this is the view of the pessimist who views his life as a total loss and lives in his own world of self-defeat. The optimist looks at the situation totally different and see's every experience in his or her life as a stepping stone and the issue at hand as one more challenge in life's journey.

Why should we make the right choice here? Because every decision you make in life will affect your future in only two ways: either good or bad. Procrastination - The Silent Killer!

We're talking about a situation here that affects most people in our society and has devastated many individuals future. We are talking about procrastination and how it affects our society in general. It is estimated that over 95% of people today are guilty of procrastination and over 20% of those individuals are guilty of habitual and chronic symptoms.

According to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: "Procrastination may result in stress, a sense of guilt and crisis, severe loss of personal productivity, as well as social disapproval for not meeting responsibilities or commitments. These feelings combined may promote further procrastination. While it is regarded as normal for people to procrastinate to some degree, it becomes a problem when it impedes normal functioning in ones life.

None of us want to admit that the procrastination in our situation is as serious as a psychological disorder; however, the end result of procrastination will always be the same. Procrastination has killed more good ideas and deals than anyone could possibly count. We all know that a choice has to be made and we keep putting it off just a little while longer. It may be something rather simple yet we all have that inner feeling that keeps telling us all the reasons why we should keep putting off that all important commitment to get the job done. As one author put it so eloquently "the worry is worse than the work", and yet we just can't draw ourselves to quite….get….started.

Procrastination appears to be just part of our human nature that we all possess. However, once that procrastination becomes a chronic situation in our lives, then the damage of not making a choice becomes a major factor in our lives. It will have a devastating effect on every aspect of our lives such as relationships, work challenges, finances and especially on our mental abilities to cope. Soon we will start doubting ourselves and this situation will escalate into more and more challenges in our lives that will occur as a result of our minds being trained to put it off till later.

Many times procrastination will evolve into destructive behavior. Drug addiction, alcohol dependency and gambling are some of the situations that many individuals procrastinate about. They are definitely concerned about this devastating situation, however, they won't make the choice right now to do anything about it. They all say "I'm going to do something about it tomorrow." Self destruction is the end result of many of these unfortunate situations.

There are many contributing factors that regulate any "putting it off" situation. Sometimes it's a chemical imbalance in the human genetics that triggers such behavior. Sometimes the cause for procrastination may be caused by anxiety, and there are some mixed opinions on this subject by the professionals. Sometimes it's just plan laziness which may be the true cause. Whatever the cause, each individual who is suffering from this problem must take back control of their lives before anything will ever change. Sometimes the only solution to resolve this situation is to seek help from a medical professional who is an expert in this type of problems. Sometimes the only solution is to turn to God our maker and trust in that higher power.

Some procrastinate simply because they consider themselves as perfectionist and if they can't do it right they will do nothing at all. I realize there may be some individuals that may legitimately fit into this scenario; however, many have used this excuse merely to do nothing. They procrastinate about doing something about their procrastination problems. Regardless of how much help your loved ones or those around you try to help in this dilemma the end result is totally up to that individual who is procrastinating to resolve a bad situation.

This brings us to the point of how procrastination affects us in our business lives. The same examples we've talked about above will definitely have an impact on our business lives and the success and failure of every business and is a direct result of a choice that was made at some time in the past. At that point and time a choice had to be made for the betterment of the business. Had the owner of the company had hesitated and procrastinated in making a choice, you can bet the outcome would have been totally different. On the other side of the coin some who procrastinated will never truly know how that choice that they postponed to a later time affected the outcome of their future and their families.

One of the main issues here is with defining procrastination in each of our lives. There are some things that we naturally must put off due to some extenuating circumstances. This is to be expected because each of us must face challenges as they develop and make choices based on the information at hand at the time the issues evolved. It is up to each of us to make an informed choice on everything we do. If each of us hasn't taken the time to research the alternatives to a particular problem, we have no one to blame for our failure but ourselves.

One of the most effective ways to help us make those all important choices is to set some perimeters on whatever the issue at hand may be. Prioritize what is important and what may have little significance on the outcome the immediate situation. This small step can become a major stepping stone to our successful outcome regarding any problem.

Distractions can be a major problem for many people who suffer with procrastination. With all the modern toys that we all have access to can really be a detriment to any kind of cure for the devastating problem of procrastination.

We have the options to play games on the computer, watch movies all day or go shopping, which are perfectly legal things to do, however, each of us must gain control of our destiny if we want to quit putting off today what we can do tomorrow. Statistics show that over 50% of all heart attack patients don't manage their lifestyle changes even though their Doctors gave them the choices of modifying their daily activities which could add years to their life. Procrastination is a killer not only to our personal experiences but to our businesses as well.

The solution to overcoming the problems associated with procrastination is to understand and define that there is indeed a problem. Make a detailed schedule of what is important for you and needs to be done right now. Don't put it off till tomorrow or next week, do it right now. Make a concerted effort to follow that schedule and fulfill each and every detail as soon as possible. Mark each chore off your list as soon as it's completed and go to the next item on your list. Suddenly you will find that each and every item you put on your schedule has been accomplished long before you thought it was possible. Then repeat the process again the first thing in the morning. Set down and make your list and do it all over again. By doing this on a regular basis you are changing a pattern that you've been used to and developing a new habit of getting the job done. Every search engine optimization specialist seems to have a different take of how you should go about the all important task of optimization of your website. Today we want to talk about some of the basics that has been tried and proven to be extremely effective in every marketing campaign.

Some of these experts even say that an ezine article will normally take 6-7 days for your article to be approved so you should submit your articles on a Thursday or Friday. I don't think it makes a difference because I normally will publish an article every day or two if at all possible. Whenever the publisher gets around to accepting my article is OK because I have another article coming right behind it. If you're just getting started in this process, don't get bogged down with the time frame discussed above. Concentrate on the basics which we will cover in greater detail in a just a moment.

Optimizing the Title of your Article or Website, Meta Tags Description and your Keywords are the main ingredients you should focus on. You must spend a lot of time on researching keywords and must devote a lot of research into finding the right keywords for your marketing campaigns. Many times I will spend more time on my keyword research than I will spend on the construction of the entire website or article. The keywords that the users queries in the search area of the search engines is what the search engines match to your keywords and then publishes the final display of recommended sites for that particular query. It's all based on relevant keywords and keyword phrases.

When you're researching for the right keywords and phrases to use in your articles or content of your website, you should try to put yourself in the users shoes for a moment and think of what you would type in the search area if you had an interest in your product you're about to offer. Ask your friends and loved ones to help you in this process. All you have to do is ask them to think of what terms they would put in the search box of their favorite search engine if they were interested in your widget you're trying to market on line. They can give you some really good feedback and suggestions.

You might even look at some articles in some of the article directories you're familiar with and see what keywords that others have used when writing about your opportunities category. Then you might consider some variations on those keywords and keyword phrases. If you're selling a product there's nothing wrong with using information from your competition to establish which keywords will be best for your current marketing campaign. What you say and how you say it is important and you must keep that point in the fore front of your mind whenever you're writing.

When you've completed your writing now comes the fun part of posting your writing on the internet. There are many methods of posting your article for people to see on line. One of my favorite ways is to publish to article directories including my own personal directory. You might want to consider owning your own article directory as well. I wasn't born with any special talents when it come to writing, in fact writing essays in high school and college was actually a major chore for me to do. Only after I got into online marketing did I realize that learning to write was one of the most important steps to this whole marketing process. The internet is all about information and the search engines place an incredible amount of weight on content in your website, blogs, forums, articles and other areas of correspondence including e-mails. So learn to enjoy the process of writing and experience the rewards that writings will give you in your "quest for success" online.

If you enjoy talking to people, then writing could well become a natural ability that you need to develop. One suggestion would be to write exactly as you talk …. Don't worry about using a bunch of high fluting words that no one understands what they mean anyway. There have been some writers who have become extremely wealthy by writing and sharing helpful hints about natural cleaning aids. Don't try to prejudge what will work and won't work, just jump in with both feet and try your hand at writing. You'll soon learn how much fun and maybe even how profitable your knowledge really is. When you write a blog, do you make sure the title of your blog is keyword specific? Is your subject matter captivating enough to get the reader's attention and compelling enough to make the reader to actually read the information you are trying to share? Most blogs literally fail because the author of that blog has lost their passion about sharing good relevant content in their writings.

With all the blogs that have evolved over the last couple of years it's imperative that you keep your edge when writing quality information on any given subject. This scenario applies for writing to please your reading audience as well as being pleasing to the search engines. There is nothing easy when you're trying to convey your information in the form of blogs and forums. Make it a habit to optimize your blog each time you write just as you would if you were writing building a website.

This begins by using a couple of relevant keywords in the title of your blog. Just throwing some words in your title won't work, you must be keyword specific. It's extremely important to name your blog correctly the first time because there are no second chances to change your title once you've uploaded you blog on the internet.

You may want to use your geographic area in your blog title especially if you're trying to target market a particular area of the country. An example might be if you were blogging about a particular breed of dog. You could say something like: AKC Border Collie Puppies in Chicago Area. This is keyword specific regarding the breed of the dogs, AKC certified and sired in the Chicago IL area. This is about as specific as you can get.

It's best to use common ordinary English when explaining your product or service. Avoid the technical terms that are often used. Most people don't understand what all that techie jargon is about anyway. In a blog you can create some links in the content of your blog pointing to your business opportunity. If you're writing an article for posting in an article directory you must keep those links for posting in your bio area of the post. If you don't understand the importance of these differences then you should probably find a marketing specialist, mentor and coach to explain these differences.

Let me explain one simple reason for understanding this concept. Linking properly adds link value to your blog and website and if done correctly will help your page rankings with the search engines. Since the search engines love links and back links, you will see some rapid movements in your site positions changing by understanding how linking works. Make sure your blogs allows your links to be followed so they will be counted by the search engines.

Blogging can be a real complement to your website when you're promoting your business opportunity. Blogging is not a substitute when marketing but can and should work together effectively in all your marketing endeavors.

If you're a bit computer challenged it would behoove you to learn some HTML code. You don't need to become a master at building websites with all the flash and goodies, however, having a working knowledge of HTML code will make it easier for you to make some necessary changes to your source code without having to spend some high dollars on code experts if you need to do some minor tweaking on your blog, forum or website.

With a simple, effective blog you can earn some high page rankings with Google, Yahoo, Bing and other not so popular search engines by using quality links in your site and by incorporating RSS feeds for your readers. Most major blogging platforms support the use of RSS feeds. Use RSS feeds to your advantage.

Most blogs and articles are indexed just like a web page so make sure you construct your Title, Meta Description and Keywords in your source code correctly for the search engines. Placing links in your content area or in the footer is OK and should be pointing to your primary business website. Avoid using foreign links that have no value to your business opportunity.

You can use a blog to promote a press release and will remain on your blog much longer than the regular online press release which only last for maybe a couple of years. In your blog the press release can become a permanent link. You can gain a lot of credibility with a personal blog with good information. Many experts and reporters often follow good blogs, articles and forums.

Blogging is probably one of the most affordable methods for promoting on the internet that you can incorporate in your marketing strategies. There are many blogging platforms that are totally free and are extremely popular as well as powerful. If you look around you will see that some of the most popular reporters and experts are now using blogs not only to post current information but for their research as well.

I Apologize If I Offended Anyone...

I apologize If I offended anyone...

This was how I started an email that I wrote to my TEAM in my network marketing company. Apparently, I offended someone when on our weekly call I talked about people who just sit on the side lines and don't take action. The person actually wrote me and told me that they were not in the "trenches" so to speak but liked the fellowship that was provided on the calls. But the felt that I was being insensitive to the fact that they were not working their business. They let me have it, right between the eyes. I deserved it!

BUT...

The point is that anyone who spends money and just sits on the sidelines is not doing a service to themselves. They are biding time! Wasting time is a foolish move since it is something that we cannot recover. When time is gone, it's gone. It has a huge lost opportunity and the measure of what might have happened will never be realized.

Now why do people sit on the side lines?

Well after I sent an apology to everyone on my team, I started getting emails from people who said, "I was not offended". I began to feel good about what I did and what had happened was people were actually taking notice of their business. I care about the people who are just sitting on the side lines, because they are people who maybe for some reason of another were lead astray.

The MLM/Network Marketing thought is to help the people who want help and let the ones who don't ask, wander in the dark. I have trouble with this concept. I think that if they spent their money, I should attempt to work with them. This is why so many people fail in the Network Marketing business, because the up-lines don't work with their people or attempt to do so. They just let them flounder along and ultimately they fail.

Why am I writing you this?

Because if you are someone who is just sitting on the side lines and want help you have several choices. You can take the initiative to call your up-line and ask for help or find a new company and start over the right way. Some times you have to "cut and run" to get ahead. I have done it before. How may times have you looked back and wished you had a resource to go to and get guidance?

I have been coaching people in business for over 30 years and have had great success with people who were to timid to ask for help, but wanted to really grow and achieve happiness and joy. If you are one that has not achieved your wants and dreams then you really should take a look at a new environment. Not every network business is right for everyone. You have to pick one that excited you and give you the motivation to want to really "bust out".

Having the right mentor is essential in getting off the ground in any business, but many people think that it cost lots of money. It does not! As a matter of fact when we mentor people and they join our company, there is no charge. But, we actually interview people to make sure we have a match with our team. This industry is not right for everyone, many people are afraid of success.

If you're into blogging there are a few things you need to be specific about in regard to the theme, presentation, and use of keywords, just to name a few. Consistency is vitally important if you want to keep your blogs earning "Top Positions on Google "and some of the other fine search engines. If you don't post to your blog on a regular basis your blog will soon become non effective, stagnant and die in popularity with users as well as search engines.

Most blogs fail because an individual loses interest and fails to post consistently to the blog with new information. Blogging is competitive if you do it right. There are over 70,000,000 blogs out there on the internet covering every subject imaginable. By narrowing your focus on your blog content to a specific subject, you can dramatically improve your page ranking, visibility and popularity with the users who follow your opportunity information on the web.

Many individuals don't realize a blog can become very popular online and gain high page rankings if treated like any other marketing campaign. You must optimize for the Search Engines on your blog just like you would if you're promoting a website or any other promotional campaign.

Depending on which blogging platform you use, each blog may become a permanent link or it could be that your links will drop from the internet after a brief online stay. This may also be true with press releases that you put in your blog.

Blogs are a great way for you to become popular as an authority on a particular subject matter. You can personalize your campaigns, brand yourself or become the expert on any given subject matter and you will build a large following of like minded people who enjoy your opinions. It's entirely possible that other experts or reporters will refer to your blog as the place to learn about a specific subject. This is an excellent way for you to be able to go directly to your customer base without any type of media filters found in other type of communication.

Can Staying Healthy Help Senior Citizens Succeed?

Adequate Nutrients Within Calorie Needs

Consume a variety of nutrient-dense foods and beverages within and among the basic food groups while choosing foods that limit the intake of saturated and trans fats, cholesterol, added sugars, salt, and alcohol. Meet recommended intakes within energy needs by adopting a balanced eating pattern, such as the USDA Food Guide or the DASH Eating Plan.

For senior citizens or if over age 50. Consume vitamin B12 in its crystalline form (i.e., fortified foods or supplements). Vitamin B12 is known to help senior citizens with mental clarity.

Older adults,people with dark skin,and people exposed to insufficient ultraviolet band radiation (i.e.,sunlight). Consume extra vitamin D from vitamin D-fortified foods and/or supplements.

Senior Citizen Weight Management

To maintain body weight in a healthy range, senior citizens should try to balance calories from foods and beverages with calories expended. To prevent gradual weight gain over time, make small decreases in food and beverage calories and increase physical activity.

Those who need to lose weight. Aim for a slow, steady weight loss by decreasing calorie intake while maintaining an adequate nutrient intake and increasing physical activity.

Overweight senior citizens with chronic diseases and/or on medication. Consult a health care provider about weight loss strategies prior to starting a weight-reduction program to ensure appropriate management of other health conditions.

Physical Activity

Engage in regular physical activity and reduce sedentary activities to promote health, psychological well-being, and a healthy body weight. To reduce the risk of chronic disease in adulthood: Engage in at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity, above usual activity, at work or home on most days of the week.

For most people, greater health benefits can be obtained by engaging in physical activity of more vigorous intensity or longer duration. To help manage body weight and prevent gradual, unhealthy body weight gain in adulthood: Engage in approximately 60 minutes of moderate- to vigorous-intensity activity on most days of the week while not exceeding caloric intake requirements. To sustain weight loss in adulthood: Participate in at least 60 to 90 minutes of daily moderate-intensity physical activity while not exceeding caloric intake requirements.

Some people may need to consult with a health care provider before participating in this level of activity. Achieve physical fitness by including cardiovascular conditioning, stretching exercises for flexibility, and resistance exercises or calisthenics for muscle strength and endurance.

Senior Citizens may want to participate in regular physical activity to reduce functional declines associated with aging and to achieve the other benefits of physical activity identified for all adults.

Not every article you write will be a cookie cutter style of the last one you wrote or any future article you may write. Depending on your thought process when you are writing will substantially influence the outcome of any article you write. This is especially true if you are writing from the heart rather than following an outline designed by someone else. There are some basics that all of us must follow when writing, however, when completed each of us will have a unique article that will reflect our true feelings about the subject matter at the very moment of our writing.

Depending on our individual writing styles a different outcome will evolve. If there was a group of a dozen writers and the group was requested to write an article on a given subject that must contained only one predetermined word, each of those articles would be uniquely different from their counterparts. My point here is simple. Each time you write you will have a basic style you will write in, but, your finished product will be totally different from your last writing.

I remember when I was learning to write we had 35 in the class and Butch Hamilton the SEO Master made us all write about the same topic. We all had to write an article per day about the word "Leads". We all had to use the same title specifically named "Leads"; however, it was amazing how diverse the content was on each of those 35 articles. Every day for seven full months each of us had to write about the subject of "Leads." This was an assignment that I personally took to heart and wrote and posted over 200 articles online during that class. Only nine out of the 35 followed the process and made the final cut. What a tremendous lesson on writing Butch conveyed to those who survived this awesome assignment. Thanks Butch!

There are multiple places you can post your writings online. Some are effective and other places are designed as place to post your articles and return little to no value for your efforts. One of the best places to post your writings is in Article Directories. There are multiple categories you can post to and you can become very selective by laser focusing your writings to one particular group of individuals who have a specific interest.

If you're going to use the all popular blogging medium to promote your writings, some experts say you should keep your writing a bit more condensed and limit your character count to somewhere between 300-500 words. However, there is not set rule here, and longer article are totally acceptable if you need to write more wordy content to get your point across. I personally post the same article on both blogs and to Article Directories.

The ultimate purpose of a blog and an Article Directory are somewhat different, however, good relevant content is what each of these entities must contain in order to be effective in promoting your business opportunity.

Some writers are emphatic about the title being the key ingredient for a successful writing, stating that the title is the one single item that captures the attention of the readers. This is true to some extent; however, some titles are a bit misleading because the title may have nothing to do with the actual subject matter of the article.

It is the opinion of this author that the length of the article is a non issue if the content is relevant keyword rich and has the ability to get your point across in a true and straight forward presentation. Having a wordy content doesn't mean that the author is more knowledgeable than someone who may write shorter articles. Sometimes lengthy articles will lose some effectiveness because the reader may become bored.

Use good common sense when writing and keep it as short as possible, however, make certain that your article follows the normal flow of presentation by capturing the reader's attention, creates a desire for your opportunity, generates a sincere interest in your product or service and leads the reader into a natural closing the sale situation where the user will want to participate in your opportunity.

The resource box at the end of your writing should contain your contact information as well as some links that points to your business opportunity. Don't overdo it with hyperlinks; in fact many directories will limit you to 2-3 links within the bio information area. If your writings are informative and appealing to the reader a couple of links here will be sufficient.

We mentioned earlier about posting your articles to Article Directories. This is an excellent way to build massive amounts of links and back links pointing to your website. Owning your own directory as a third level domain on your primary website is a powerful way to promote your business opportunity. Other seasoned authors will sign up as contributing authors in your directory and when a download is done from any of the articles in your Article Directory your permanent links will be on that download which could appear on literally hundreds of thousands of websites, forums and blogs all over the World Wide Web.

Most of the websites online today are not designed to do well with the search engines. Many web designers know how to put all the flash, scrolling text and fluff in a site but don't know how to optimize a site for the benefit of the search engines. As we've discussed in some of our other writings the algorithms in each search engine is a bit difference and unless you know what a particular search engine is looking for, it's nearly impossible to be lucky enough to stumble on exactly what you need to do to make your site work effectively when the search engines sends their spiders to gather your information for indexing.

With the ever changing algorithms by the search engines, it's difficult to keep up with all the changes in their indexing strategies. This is where you need to seek the advice of a professional who keeps abreast of these changes and knows how to implement the new changes quickly. Just having a good looking website is not going to cut it with the search engines, so you must understand what to do, how to do it and then continue your process of learning and implementing your new found knowledge into making your site totally optimized for the search engines.

When you're designing a site and to begin to put your site together, it's important to follow the search engine guidelines of optimization in this process or you will never be seen by the users on line or the search engines. I talked to a gentleman yesterday who had a lot of scrolling banners on his site and couldn't understand why he wasn't being found online. That is for the users eye appeal only, and may be necessary eye candy for users, however, not appealing to the search engines. Unless you optimize for both the user and the search engines your site will probably go nowhere fast.

Recently I read some information that I thought said it best. If users "can't find you via the search engines, you may simply have a great looking billboard in a cornfield." I wish I knew who wrote that quote so I could give them credit, because they hit the nail right on the head with that statement.

A well optimized website design is an open invitation for the search engines to visit your site often and follow your links from one page to another, check your source code for accuracy, they will verify your keywords listed and make sure they are relevant to your site and that your site has met all the rules and guidelines of their algorithms. If all these segments of your site are in order then the search engines will move your page rankings to higher positions. This is an ongoing process, so don't get discouraged if your page ranking makes some rather drastic moves every couple of days until the search engines figures out exactly where your site should be positioned in their indexing.

One suggestion that will help the search engines to crawl your site quickly and effectively is to include a site map. This will make it much easier for the engines to see that you have followed their rules and guidelines regarding the headers, titles, Meta description, linked correctly and used your keywords strategically throughout your content. With this sitemap the search engine spiders will follow your map and index your site accordingly. All of these functions are in the source code of your site and not readily recognized by the everyday users who visit your site.

Many of these elements of your site are not even considered by most website designers and developers or webmasters and as a result your website will soon wither and become stagnant. If you're currently at this point in your website experience, then you need to seek the services of a trained optimization specialist who may be able to make some quick recommendations that will help your site move in rankings with the search engines. The secret here is to build your site for the users eye appeal, but include all the search engines recommendations so you can attain better popularity with both of these entities.

Keep in mind when building or optimizing your site to use language that the general public can understand. A well rounded website should be easy to read, understandable without all the techie phrases and be simple to navigate for the general audiences. If there is some technical information that you need to include, you can do that by creating another page in your site dedicated to only techie information that the more technical user can refer to.

Once you've followed the plan of design, built your site and uploaded it to your server what do you do next? The old saying "if you build it, they will come" was obviously not made by someone who is an experienced website promoter.

At this point in this venture, your work has just begun. You must now work hard to get your site to appear online when a search query is made by a user for one of your keywords. You must build a list of potential clients that you can mail information to about your product or services. You must build links and back links to your business. These are functions that must become second nature to you in your everyday marketing activities.

This is a process that can be accomplished in two different ways. One is that you can learn the process and use your knowledge to promote any new opportunity you want for the rest of your life. The second options is to hire the services of someone who has already went through the process of studying, learning and consistently uses their knowledge to earn organic search engine rankings. You can follow either one of these paths, or you can do some combination of the two. This choice is totally up to each individual situation. How To Quit Your Way To Success

Many times people in Network Marketing join a company with the idea of making quick dollars fast. This concept is one that plagues over 90% of the people who join MLM/ Network Marketing. As a result of this mindset these people end up fueling the coffers of many Network Marketing companies instead of reversing the momentum and making money for themselves.

By joining a network marketing company and building a downline instead of a team, you are not building an asset but a liability. Liabilities make the network marketing companies rich and not the team builder.

Look at it this way, you build a downline of a few people and you decide that you are not making headway fast enough then someone else comes along and tells you that there is more money in joining their company faster so you leave your existing company and then go to the new one. The bigger the snowball is the easier it will stay in tact through the warm spells and then as you keep rolling you get bigger and bigger with many more people on the team rolling the snowball.

The secret is to use the power of compounding and let it work for you instead of working for the network marketing company. It's impossible to "Quit Your Way To Success" but for some strange reason people think that they can. Quitters never win! It's a proven fact but ignored by many.

The secret is to find a good company and a good team to join, then interview them and see if you are all of like mind and can work together. Treat your network marketing business as a business and not a sideline. Get a good mentor that knows what they are doing and quiz them about their successes. Leave no stone unturned.

Senior Citizens Struggle To Retire

It's not going to be your parents retirement rewarded at 65 with a gold watch, a guaranteed pension, and health insurance for life. For many senior citizens, retiring is a struggle for some quite a mystery. Earlier generations of workers could rely on employer provided pensions, but now many workers will need to rely on their own work related and personal savings plus Social Security benefits. These savings have to last longer because senior citizens are living longer, often into their eighties and nineties.

A secure, comfortable retirement is every senior citizens dream. And now because we're living longer, healthier lives, we can expect to spend more time in retirement than our parents and grandparents did.

Senior citizens can work while receiving Social Security retirement benefits. When they do, it could mean a higher benefit for you in the future. Higher benefits can be important to you later in life and increase the future benefit amounts your family and your survivors could receive.

While senior citizens are working, their earnings will reduce their benefit amount only until they reach full retirement age. SEO is more technical that just ordinary online marketing and the more you know about this process the better you will become at earning "Top Positions on Google", Yahoo and MSN, now known as Bing. By acquiring a bit of knowledge and understanding what the search engines are looking for, in a website when you're doing a marketing campaign can become the difference between a rewarding campaign and a total flop.

In this process of learning it will be necessary to learn some HTML code so you can tweak your website for maximum effectiveness for the search engines. As we've discussed before in some of our writings, you must make your site pleasing for the user, as well as the search engines.

Making your source code totally optimized for the search engines, they will send their spiders back to crawl your website, so it can be indexed correctly. The search engines love good relevant text in your site and by following this one simple process you can gain a lot of page ranking position. There are different names used for this process. Some of the search engines call them crawlers, others will call them Spiders, Robots and of course the all famous Googlebot used by Google. Whichever one comes to your site the purpose is the same and that is to follow links from page to page and index everything, that they can find on your site that will help in positioning your URL properly on search results when a user types a query in the search bar of their favorite search engine.

There are over 20 Billion pages on the internet and it's impossible for any of these spiders to visit every page every day, so the robots will come back and spider your site quicker if you hand index your URL directly to the big three search engines when you add new content to your website. In most cases your site will only get crawled once every 6-8 weeks, so if you want your site to be crawled quicker, then do the hand indexing mentioned above.

When initially building your site, and making changes give some serious thought, as to what the search engines are going to look at. The engines won't look at pictures, flash movies, Java Script or password protected pages. There are some special tools that will help you check your site exactly as the search engines will look at it. This is a tremendous tool to have in your marketing toolbox if you want to make sure your doing it right.

Anything we listed about that the spiders can't see, will not be indexed. This makes that information of absoluetly no value to your search engine rankings, because the search engines will consider your information as non-existent because of the pictures, java script etc..

The next step of this process is for the search engines to index your website. This is when they go to their huge databases and retrieve the information that was gathered when the robot visited your site and gathered your information. The search engine then matches your website keywords with the search query by the user and will publish the search results in order of importance and rankings. Each search engine will give a different position of your site because of the differences in the algorithms of the various engines.

Many factors are considered in this overall process, such as relevant keywords, keyword phrases, keyword density, whether the title of the site contains keywords, the amount of keywords in the meta tag description and many other factors to numerous to mention. With a well rounded display of relevant keywords in your source code and your content area of your site, you may be listed by the search engines in multiple categories. This is a good thing, and will help you when any user, has typed one of your keywords in the search box of their favorite search engine looking for a product or service.

As you can see, each of the search engines has different algorithms and guidelines for listing your site. It is imperative for you to either understand these differences or secure the services of an SEO expert. Choosing the right name for your business is always important to any new venture. If you're selling shoes, you wouldn't want to name your company Fantastic Dreams! Fantastic Dreams has nothing to do with shoes. You want something that is easy to remember and when someone thinks of you, they think of your company name as well. When they think of your company, they automatically think of you. You can address this important issue by looking for relevant keywords, that relate to your business opportunity.

When I'm doing a promotion for my clients, many times I will spend as much time researching keywords, as I will in drafting the actual business promotion plan. Everything regarding promoting your business, will be a direct result of what keywords, you use in your Title, Meta tags and content of your website. Your URL is the first thing your customer and the search engines see's, when they look at your site.

If in this process you can come up with a catchy name that is relevant to your business opportunity and easy for the customer to remember, that would be your best case scenario. That doesn't happen too often, so be creative and come up with a name that will work for your specific business. Large companies spend literally million dollars per year, coming up with catchy names and sayings to capture the potential users attention. Once you can make an M in the form of an arch recognizable and people can tell you what it stands for, then you've nailed the right combination.

Many of the real clever names and slogans have already been taken, however, you must tailor make your name and business opportunity unique, to your particular business needs. Putting a lot of thought into this process will save you loads of time and money in the future. It's difficult to make any changes to these two critical elements, once you've started to become recognized on the internet.

We mentioned earlier about having some keywords in the name of your company. This will make it easier for the general public to relate to your opportunity. Many people I talk to will remark that all the good names are already taken. Not really! You can take an existing name you like, and personalize it a bit and that domain name may be available for purchase as a domain name. A good example would be Ford.com, that name is already taken by Ford Motor Company and let's say your last name is Ford, what are your options? Use your imagination a little here. A good take off on the word Ford might be http;//af-ford-able.com or a take off on any specific word you want to focus on. Get creative and you will find countless names that can be applied to your business efforts.

There are various factors that must be considered when choosing that unique name for your business. Is your business local, national or international? What is the focus of your business? Are you a specialty business or is there a lot of competition in your industry? These are all questions that should be considered when putting your whole marketing program together.

If your focus is going to be more on the local area, you might want to put the name of your City and State in the URL. Targeting a particular geographic area can become a powerful way to beat your competition.

As we pointed out earlier, you are unlimited in your options with the use of dashes and periods since the search engine looks at them as spaces. One piece of advice is to use at least one keyword in your domain, however, don't use more than three keywords, because the engines may consider that you are attempting to spam. By doing your original keyword research you will be able to use many different combinations to your advantage. Ask your family and friends to help you in this selection process. Ask them what they would search for, if they were looking for your product or service.

The use of dot com, dot biz, dot net is a matter of preference. There are no hard fast rules here. My feeling is that most people will always think of a URL ending in a dot com symbol. Other symbols may be used and can possibly be effective, however, I recommend getting the dot com if at all possible.

Another consideration is the age of your domain. If you have an old domain that will work for your current project, then by all means us that domain. The search engines will put more credence in an aged domain over a new domain. Since many new businesses fail in the first year or so, there is a feeling that an aged domain has already shown stability and longevity.

Another factor you must consider would be how many links your aged domain has pointing to it. Does your aged domain truly reflect your current business objectives? Sometimes an aged domain can be used if you use the aged domain by adding a third level domain. This way you can used an aged domain with the third level domain referring to your current opportunity. The search engines love back links so the more links you can generate the higher your page ranking will appear when a search query is made containing your keywords or keyword phrases. In article directories you can normally place up to three links in the bio area of your press release, blog or directory post.

Don't forget to hand index the unique URL of your press release to at least the big three search engines. Since most of the queries are made through Google, Yahoo and Bing your site should see some substantial movements in the search engine results. Some of the bigger press release companies are associated with some of the bigger most respected publishers on the internet so don't overlook this tremendous opportunity to get your name, your companies name and information in front of the major players.

Make your press release interesting, informative and don't try to sell your product through the press release. Many of the publishers will pick up on your attempt to sell your opportunity and will ban your information from being published. If one of these major players in the publishing business decides to pick up your information, they will distribute your release to literally thousands of other publishers and your article may even be picked up and featured by one of the big boys. I've personally had some of my press releases syndicated and ended up with hundreds of thousands of hits. This type of promotion is powerful if done correctly. If you don't know how to do a press release you can hire a professional marketing specialist to do it for you. Most of the time you can get a professional to write a good press release for about a hundred dollars on up. Believe me it's worth every penny of the cost to have it done correctly by someone who knows what they are doing.

There are some of the press release publishers that will distribute your press release for free. Some charge a small fee for each release they publish. The paid versions will normally get a better exposure than the free programs. The paid versions also publish quickly where some of the free publishers may wait weeks to publish. Many times the free versions don't even publish your information. If depends on their work load, the amount of paid releases they have and sometimes is seems like their mood even may play a part in whether they publish or not.

The paid versions of this process typically include better distribution to the news wires and search engines as well. It is my recommendation to go with the paid versions because of the extra value. It takes about the same amount of effort to do it right as it does to do it wrong. Let the system work for you the most effective way possible. In my experience with online marketing there are no shortcuts to get the results you deserve for the efforts you put forth. If you don't understand this whole concept, then acquire the services of a professional early on in any of your projects.

In severe cases the engines will ban your website from the internet for a year or more.

When I'm helping people online become successful marketers one of the most important things I stress to my students is they must learn to write. How do you do that without having to go back to college and take a class in writing? I tell all my students "you learn to write by writing." If you write from the heart and write like you talk your message will be heard loud and clear by your readers.

Your writings whether in an email, copy in your website or an information article, put your thoughts in simple and plain language that readers will feel comfortable reading. Forget the big fancy words that many writers use trying to impress their reading audience about how smart they think they are. Be straight forward, truthful and above all be passionate and well informed about your subject matter. Using language that is questionable and rambling will be a turnoff to most readers. Keep it short and simple, yet informative.

Keep your writings to a reading level that will reach the greatest number of readers. The average working individual is who you're going to be writing for. Those who are technical and think they know everything already probably won't be interested in your writings anyway. Writing information that is above the reading potential and comprehension is of absolutely no value to you or the reader.

Google and other search engines prefer aged domain rather than new domains. Try to use domains that have been around for awhile. If you have a new domain you may not get recognized by the search engines for 10-12 months if you're lucky. This is often referred to as the "Google Sand Box." There is nothing you can do to change this process, just keep promoting your site and one day your site will appear out of nowhere in a query result.

Another reason could be that your site is not optimized correctly. This could include issues such as your content in your site not being relevant to your promoting. Maybe the keywords are too few or even too many keywords can be a problem. Without adequate numbers of keywords distributed throughout your site the search engine robots won't know where to place your site in their algorithm structure. Having too many keywords in your site may even be worse. The search engines frown on keyword stuffing and will penalize you substantially for trying to get their attention by putting the same keyword multiple times in your website. A ratio of 5-7% is a good ration of keywords to word content. This should keep you out of trouble.

Having keywords distributed throughout your website is imperative. Keyword proximity will also contribute to deductions by the search engines. To simplify this part of the process a bit…if you were using the keyword "leads" you may want to keep the term "leads" to 2-3 times in any paragraph. Don't try to get away with keyword stuffing.

Good relevant content explaining your business opportunity is what the search engines are looking for. The source code of your site is where the engines will pick up a lot of information about your site and will use this information in their indexing process.

This is an ongoing process, so just take the changes as they come and you will soon find what works and what doesn't for you and your business website.

A well thought out site with keywords and phrases strategically placed throughout the site, will give a broad spectrum of results when a query is made regarding your keywords. For those of you who follow my articles, you've probably noticed I talk a lot about writing and blogging. Today I want to share with you some rather basic ideas about blogging that will help you understand why I am so passionate about helping those who are really serious about making money online learn how to write and experience the benefits of sharing information with others through blogging.

If you're not currently writing on a regular basis then you need to do some soul searching about how committed you are to making a living on the internet. The internet is all about information and by not sharing your experiences and knowledge you're missing out on a tremendous opportunity to reach a segment of the internet market that otherwise you will never penetrate.

My suggestion for today would be that if you are not currently writing, blogging and posting to forums you need to start today and experience the benefits blogging will provide to you and your business opportunity.

Having a professional looking writing will build a respect of your users that you know what you're doing. You're going to make some errors that you may overlook in your proofing of your content, that's OK we are all human. If you have someone you can rely on to proofread your writings, many times they will catch an error that you may have overlooked. Spending that little bit of extra time it takes to proof your writing one more time will be time well spent.

Write from your heart. Don't try to put on a front that you're something you're not. People will pick up your insincerity really quickly in your writing. Just be yourself and write like you talk. Of course leave out any profanity and questionable content.

If you can join a bloggers forum you will gain an incredible amount of knowledge about blogging from other people who have a like interest. Don't hesitate to leave a funny, friendly comment to any blog or writing you may become a part of. Feedback will help each of us and will help to make you a better writer.

Try to keep your site clean and uncluttered. One cool plug-in on Blogger is the log of your articles so your readers can easily find your articles. Using a keyword in your blog title will help you and your users to find your writing on a particular subject matter rather quickly.

It is recommended that you put your contact information and any links at the bottom of your writings in the byline area. Try to keep your links to about 2-3 at the most. Too many links can become overwhelming to your reading audience rather quickly.

In your content area, use some good relevant keywords and keyword phrases about your product or services. Distribute your keywords throughout the writing so the search engines will look favorably on your article. Keyword density and keyword proximity are two key elements that the search engines look at carefully when indexing and positioning your site with a good page rank. Blogging is a powerful way to keep an internet audience informed with new and exciting news that's happening in the world called the internet. Blogging is also an excellent way to build a constant flow of traffic to your website and develop a client base for your business. Blogging is not for everyone, because some people just don't like the idea of having to set down and express themselves in any form of writing.

Blogging is only one of the powerful marketing tools that successful marketer has incorporated to some extent in their overall marketing strategies. Some enjoy the personal satisfaction of writing all of their own material strait from the heart while others choose to use the services of professional writer to write for them. Either way this form of communication with online users can be extremely powerful and productive.

Early on in your blogging experience you should set some realistic goals of where you want your blog to take your business. There are different areas of concern with different situations which we want to discuss in further detail.

Some choose to use blogging for communicating with their existing client base, while others use the medium of blogging to develop new clients. Whatever your reasons, you need to take advantage of the easiest, most effective methods to accomplish your marketing goals.

Some use blogging simply to inform their client base about new and /or updated company news. This is a quick, easy and simple non threatening method of accomplishing that goal.

Others use blogs to answer questions, discuss guides and guidelines for their products, services and almost anything else relevant to their company. Some will even use blogs to include ads as well as other methods of marketing to promote their business opportunity.

Once you know where you want your blogs to go and what you want to accomplish with your blogs, the sooner you start this process, the quicker you will start seeing some positive results.

I have had excellent results with the Google Blogger format. There are numerous plug ins and widgets that will make your blogging experience more effective. Blogs are one of my favorite marketing tools to build and earn "Top Positions on Google" and other fine search engines. Having multiple blogs using different keywords in the title can become extremely effective for earning those top spots. The beauty of using the Google Blogs is that they are free.

Do some serious research and see which blogging format is best suited for you and your needs, as well as which blog will help you to accomplish your marketing goals the easiest and quickest ways. Not all blogs are alike, so compare the features and benefits of each, and choose wisely.

If you're going to be using photos, videos, and other forms of media make sure your choice of blogging formats includes these add ons. Some formats will allow embed videos and slide shows in the sidebars. If you feel that you may want to include these features in the future…. then by all means choose a format that will support these features now. These features may be effective to capture the attention of the online user; however, the search engines are interested in good relevant content for their page ranking algorithms. Try to deliver a well balanced blog that will appeal to both the user and search engines.

Many companies use their blogs to get the information in front of the general public on special featured products that may be part of a promotional campaign for a particular month. They use the blog to point customers to the main website for further information. The overall objective is to make money and whatever way you choose to accomplish those goals is important to your success….the end result is what you need to look at and what tools is required to make it happen.

Consider add-ons such as bookmarking plug-ins, RSS feeds and other useful features that will make your blog easy to recommend to other users. You will start experiencing some powerful results from this method of marketing that you never thought was possible. Post as often as possible and regularly to get the maximum effectiveness. Set a goal for every day, every other day or maybe once per week, but post to your blog(s) consistently. If new products or services become available then post that information as soon as possible. Keeping your regular followers informed will develop into a steady flow of income if handled correctly.

One word of caution here is to provide good information about your market in general and not so much advertising for a specific product your trying to promote. Make sure you offer two or three links to your business opportunity at the bottom of your blog. The user likes to know how to get hold of you. Make it easy for them to find you without having to hunt and search for your contact information on past blogs or articles.

Having a log on your blog is one of the features I like on the Google Blogger format. This makes it easy for the reader to go back and find a blog or article of interest without having to spend a lot of time searching for your information.

In any business blog, it is recommended you refrain from posting your personal feelings, religious beliefs and political opinions, so keep them to yourself. Some people may agree with your feelings and beliefs, however, many are turned off when you mix these issues into a business environment. If you want to express your opinions then start another blog or post to another blog designed to cover such issues.

In your business blog, confine your information to news and comments about the industry that your blog is about. If you see a video, read an article, review a blog with pertinent information about your industry then sit down and write about your findings and comments in your blog about this new found information, and how it affects your business opportunity and benefits your clients.

Recent reports indicate that "less than 5% of people who attempt to start an online business actually succeed," is truly an astounding revelation. Many become frustrated and just plain quit in a few weeks. Why is there such a high attrition rate to this segment of the internet? It's a simple answer….they haven't learned the process of marketing online correctly. Marketing on line is not a simple gig that everyone is willing to learn…..it takes a strong determination, commitment and an incredible amount of hard work to become the success most people only dream about.

There are certain simple hints that I will share with you in this article that will help you to get started without a lot of knowledge and hoopla.

If you find a niche market that you're familiar with, you can launch a marketing campaign that will promote that niche opportunity to the internet masses. Preferably you should look for and hopefully find a niche market that has a low competition rate and with a high demand for the product or services you're offering. Build in a fair profit margin for yourself and make sure the market you're going after has enough disposable income to afford your product or service.

Do some research and find the best keywords for your new niche website. Relevant keywords are imperative to any successful marketing campaign, so choose wisely. Google offers an excellent Keyword Tool that will make this whole process so much easier. Do a Google Search for the term Keyword Tool and follow the instructions to review one of the most informative selections of keywords that users commonly searched for. You will be able to determine which keywords are most searched for by the month as well as the popularity of the keywords.

Use your keywords and keyword phrases strategically in your websites, articles and emails in any and all of your promotional activities. Relevant keywords are what the search engines look for in your source code. The search engine robots come to your web site and spider for relevant keywords, keyword density and keyword proximity so they can index your site on the web with as high a page rank as possible. If these key factors are out of balance the search engines will penalize you for keyword stuffing and will take points away from your total score.

Using search engines is the method users find your product or service by typing a keyword or phrases in the search bar of their favorite search engine. The search engine will then use the keywords found from your website when they spider your site and compare those keywords with the users query and match the two and show the results of matching sites. With proper structure of your site and the use of relevant keywords, you should be indexed high in the query returns.

There's numerous way, you can find or build a niche website. If you are new to the online marketing scene, then you may wish to get involved in something you may be a bit familiar with. An example may be; you have a few years experience in selling medical equipment and know several different suppliers. Use your contacts from these suppliers and see if they will work with you on some kind of a drop shipping agreement with you for your web site. That way you won't have to inventory any product. They will probably be more than glad to give you the access to photos and descriptive information about their products that you can copy and paste and get started rather quickly without spending a lot of money.

You may not sell anything for a while, however, just hang in there and you will soon see results starting to take place for the efforts you've put forth. As soon as you get one product up and running, then put together another product and continue this process until you may have a complete array of products that you are making money with. Multiple streams of income in marketing is what every marketer is striving for.

Many times your follow up process and accessories you sell will make you more money than the original marketing campaign. Use your good judgment on many of these issues and you will find that in a short time you will be conducting your business like a seasoned professional. Don't expect any of this to happen overnight……It takes time, patience and a lot of hard work to build maintain and establish your online presence and a strong reputation. Don't try to shortcut this part of building your online business, shortcuts will always come back to haunt you later on.

Early on in your marketing venture, try to find and establish a good lead generating system that can be used to build a list of potential clients that you can market to later on. Keep accurate records of different interest the user shares with you when you acquire their personal information. This list is going to be your bread and butter in future marketing campaigns. These names are priceless and should be guarded by you at all cost.

Prospecting has always been an ongoing chore and always will be, so try to do it right the first time, keep accurate records and keep your contacts informed with weekly or bi-weekly newsletters about new and exciting things that are happening in your life, business and the overall market in general.

As you become more informed about marketing, you will find it an advantage to frequently review your statistics regarding conversions. If you have a good looking website, provide good information and make a high percentage of sale to contact ratio, then you may be OK with the current setup…However, if your conversion rate is low or non-existent, then you may want to revise your site, content and format and try the promotion again. One thing out of balance in your marketing strategy can ruin your chances of a successful marketing campaign. By tweaking one little thing can make the difference between success and failure when marketing.

Once you've found what works for you, stick with it and really start promoting aggressively. "Strike while the iron is hot" is important at this point in your marketing career.
