Writing articles and posting your articles online is one of the most powerful ways to promote your business opportunity in today's market. There are many different styles of writing that can be very effective, and your writings must be done on a regular and consistent basis if you want to survive online. It has been proven that well written content will get your message to the internet masses whether your content appears in a web site, blog, forum or some other form of media that can promote what you have to offer.

Words can be extremely powerful in promoting a product or service. Straying from your subject matter even a little bit can be devastating to your overall effectiveness and online success. When writing you must keep your approach focused on the subject you select to write about and stick with the subject rather than rambling. Many times this is referred to as the headline of the article. If you fail to grab the attention of the reader in the title, many of your readers won't look any further at your information. Your title should be catchy but not cute so the reader will continue to read what you have to say about your opportunity.

If you're like most readers they will scan read your page rather quickly: If you haven't caught their attention by then, you have probably lost that potential client and they will quickly move to the next site and do the same process all over again. Normally you only have one chance to capture the reader's attention. You must take full advantage of that chance if you want to succeed online.

Keep your headline as short as possible and still get your point across. Never use a general title unless a one word title explains what you're trying to convey to the user. A good example would be the term "Leads". This particular word is a general term, however, any online marketer will relate to the word because of the importance of "leads" to the success of their business.

Your title must be very clear, concise and deliver a specific message. Once you have compiled your article and reviewed it for content, spelling and structure, you will find a number of suitable titles for your writing. I always like to write my articles about a specific topic but never title the article until I have completed my writings. This makes it easier to find a suitable, relevant title to whatever my articles final outcome may have evolved into.

Once you've noted several different titles that can be used for your writing, then you can make a choice of which one best describes your overall content of your article. A good example here would be if you were writing about blogging, you could use the title of "Writing Blogs is Fun" may be a general title that has no meaning to the individual who is interested in blogging for promoting his or her business. A title of "Blogging to Promote Your Business Opportunity" may be more appropriate. Use your imagination a little here, and soon your writing will evolve into a powerful medium of communication.

As you progress in your writing and blogging skills you will find it much easier each time you write, to come up with an effective title. Practice makes perfect in this particular case. The more you write the better you will be at writing. You will find there is a particular segment of readers that will relate to your writings and will make it a point to subscribe to your RSS feeds so they can keep up with your writings because they like your style. You will create a following of avid, loyal readers that one day may become your next best customers.

Just remember, your headline is what is going to get the attention of the reader in almost every case. Make the headline catchy, write good relevant content in the body of your article and consistently write and blog in an effort to hone your skills in writing until writing becomes a second nature to your everyday activity.

In Summary: Create a powerful headline that will grab the reader's attention to your articles. Take some time, a little effort and a dash of creativity and come up with the very best title you can think of. Continue to practice to hone your writing skills and you're on your way to establishing a following of regular readers that will eventually recognize you as their authority on a given subject.

How Being an Optimist or Pessimist Affects Your Life!

Everyone is faced with decisions every day of our lives. Life is filled with change, and choices that we all must face. Depending on the circumstances surrounding an event your choice will probably be much different than just talking to someone, and telling them your story and then listening to their answers. Anyone you've explained your situation to, will look at the issue at hand and make recommendations from a totally different point of view than you will. It's all a matter of perspective based on information and facts available.

You can look at any issue you face, from many different perspectives. A good example of this is the view of the pessimist who views his life as a total loss and lives in his own world of self-defeat. The optimist looks at the situation totally different and see's every experience in his or her life as a stepping stone and the issue at hand as one more challenge in life's journey.

Why should we make the right choice here? Because every decision you make in life will affect your future in only two ways: either good or bad. Pessimistic attitudes are contagious and someone who is a pessimistic will drag everyone around them down, whether it's in their personal life, academic, occupational or political and a negative attitude will affect everyone they come in contact with. Having a bad attitude can even have a devastating effect on your physical and social well being.

This is one area of your life that "opposites attract" does not apply to.

Some professionals say that "Optimists normally live longer, enjoy a healthier lifestyle and with their positive attitude records show that there is a measurable increase in the body's ability to fight off common colds, flu, and disease that others seem to attract." It has also been stated that an optimist will age better as well, as a result of having a good outlook on life in general.

Blogging – Is An Excellent Way to Promote Your Business!

If you're just getting started in the online marketing game and don't know where to begin, then today's article may help you set some boundaries and perimeters in your new venture. Many of us have been in some form of sales for years and any good salesperson will share some features and benefits and then go for the close rather quickly. Procrastination - The Silent Killer!

We're talking about a situation here that affects most people in our society and has devastated many individuals future. We are talking about procrastination and how it affects our society in general. It is estimated that over 95% of people today are guilty of procrastination and over 20% of those individuals are guilty of habitual and chronic symptoms.

According to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: "Procrastination may result in stress, a sense of guilt and crisis, severe loss of personal productivity, as well as social disapproval for not meeting responsibilities or commitments. These feelings combined may promote further procrastination. While it is regarded as normal for people to procrastinate to some degree, it becomes a problem when it impedes normal functioning in ones life.

None of us want to admit that the procrastination in our situation is as serious as a psychological disorder; however, the end result of procrastination will always be the same. Procrastination has killed more good ideas and deals than anyone could possibly count. We all know that a choice has to be made and we keep putting it off just a little while longer. It may be something rather simple yet we all have that inner feeling that keeps telling us all the reasons why we should keep putting off that all important commitment to get the job done. As one author put it so eloquently "the worry is worse than the work", and yet we just can't draw ourselves to quite….get….started.

Procrastination appears to be just part of our human nature that we all possess. However, once that procrastination becomes a chronic situation in our lives, then the damage of not making a choice becomes a major factor in our lives. It will have a devastating effect on every aspect of our lives such as relationships, work challenges, finances and especially on our mental abilities to cope. Soon we will start doubting ourselves and this situation will escalate into more and more challenges in our lives that will occur as a result of our minds being trained to put it off till later.

Many times procrastination will evolve into destructive behavior. Drug addiction, alcohol dependency and gambling are some of the situations that many individuals procrastinate about. They are definitely concerned about this devastating situation, however, they won't make the choice right now to do anything about it. They all say "I'm going to do something about it tomorrow." Self destruction is the end result of many of these unfortunate situations.

There are many contributing factors that regulate any "putting it off" situation. Sometimes it's a chemical imbalance in the human genetics that triggers such behavior. Sometimes the cause for procrastination may be caused by anxiety, and there are some mixed opinions on this subject by the professionals. Sometimes it's just plan laziness which may be the true cause. Whatever the cause, each individual who is suffering from this problem must take back control of their lives before anything will ever change. Sometimes the only solution to resolve this situation is to seek help from a medical professional who is an expert in this type of problems. Sometimes the only solution is to turn to God our maker and trust in that higher power.

Some procrastinate simply because they consider themselves as perfectionist and if they can't do it right they will do nothing at all. I realize there may be some individuals that may legitimately fit into this scenario; however, many have used this excuse merely to do nothing. They procrastinate about doing something about their procrastination problems. Regardless of how much help your loved ones or those around you try to help in this dilemma the end result is totally up to that individual who is procrastinating to resolve a bad situation.

This brings us to the point of how procrastination affects us in our business lives. The same examples we've talked about above will definitely have an impact on our business lives and the success and failure of every business and is a direct result of a choice that was made at some time in the past. At that point and time a choice had to be made for the betterment of the business. Had the owner of the company had hesitated and procrastinated in making a choice, you can bet the outcome would have been totally different. On the other side of the coin some who procrastinated will never truly know how that choice that they postponed to a later time affected the outcome of their future and their families.

One of the main issues here is with defining procrastination in each of our lives. There are some things that we naturally must put off due to some extenuating circumstances. This is to be expected because each of us must face challenges as they develop and make choices based on the information at hand at the time the issues evolved. It is up to each of us to make an informed choice on everything we do. If each of us hasn't taken the time to research the alternatives to a particular problem, we have no one to blame for our failure but ourselves.

One of the most effective ways to help us make those all important choices is to set some perimeters on whatever the issue at hand may be. Prioritize what is important and what may have little significance on the outcome the immediate situation. This small step can become a major stepping stone to our successful outcome regarding any problem.

Distractions can be a major problem for many people who suffer with procrastination. With all the modern toys that we all have access to can really be a detriment to any kind of cure for the devastating problem of procrastination.

We have the options to play games on the computer, watch movies all day or go shopping, which are perfectly legal things to do, however, each of us must gain control of our destiny if we want to quit putting off today what we can do tomorrow. Statistics show that over 50% of all heart attack patients don't manage their lifestyle changes even though their Doctors gave them the choices of modifying their daily activities which could add years to their life. Procrastination is a killer not only to our personal experiences but to our businesses as well.

The solution to overcoming the problems associated with procrastination is to understand and define that there is indeed a problem. Make a detailed schedule of what is important for you and needs to be done right now. Don't put it off till tomorrow or next week, do it right now. Make a concerted effort to follow that schedule and fulfill each and every detail as soon as possible. Mark each chore off your list as soon as it's completed and go to the next item on your list. Suddenly you will find that each and every item you put on your schedule has been accomplished long before you thought it was possible. Then repeat the process again the first thing in the morning. Set down and make your list and do it all over again. By doing this on a regular basis you are changing a pattern that you've been used to and developing a new habit of getting the job done. Optimizing your Articles and Websites!

Every search engine optimization specialist seems to have a different take of how you should go about the all important task of optimization of your website. Today we want to talk about some of the basics that has been tried and proven to be extremely effective in every marketing campaign.

Some of these experts even say that an ezine article will normally take 6-7 days for your article to be approved so you should submit your articles on a Thursday or Friday. I don't think it makes a difference because I normally will publish an article every day or two if at all possible. Whenever the publisher gets around to accepting my article is OK because I have another article coming right behind it. If you're just getting started in this process, don't get bogged down with the time frame discussed above. Concentrate on the basics which we will cover in greater detail in a just a moment.

Optimizing the Title of your Article or Website, Meta Tags Description and your Keywords are the main ingredients you should focus on. You must spend a lot of time on researching keywords and must devote a lot of research into finding the right keywords for your marketing campaigns. Many times I will spend more time on my keyword research than I will spend on the construction of the entire website or article. The keywords that the users queries in the search area of the search engines is what the search engines match to your keywords and then publishes the final display of recommended sites for that particular query. It's all based on relevant keywords and keyword phrases.

When you're researching for the right keywords and phrases to use in your articles or content of your website, you should try to put yourself in the users shoes for a moment and think of what you would type in the search area if you had an interest in your product you're about to offer. Ask your friends and loved ones to help you in this process. All you have to do is ask them to think of what terms they would put in the search box of their favorite search engine if they were interested in your widget you're trying to market on line. They can give you some really good feedback and suggestions.

You might even look at some articles in some of the article directories you're familiar with and see what keywords that others have used when writing about your opportunities category. Then you might consider some variations on those keywords and keyword phrases. If you're selling a product there's nothing wrong with using information from your competition to establish which keywords will be best for your current marketing campaign. It is my opinion that a through keyword research is the foundation to a successful business venture.

We've discussed in some of our other writings about how important good relevant content is when writing copy for your website, writing an article, blog or forum. With any of the search engines, content is King and is vital if you want to earn "Top Positions on Google" and other fine search engines. What you say and how you say it is important and you must keep that point in the fore front of your mind whenever you're writing.

When you've completed your writing now comes the fun part of posting your writing on the internet. There are many methods of posting your article for people to see on line. One of my favorite ways is to publish to article directories including my own personal directory. You might want to consider owning your own article directory as well. Be Passionate about your Writings!

Most successful marketers will tell you that article marketing is probably one of the most overlooked venues of promoting your opportunity and could well be the most powerful affordable method of marketing online today. Then the question arises; "why aren't more people using this phenomenal marketing tool to promote their business opportunities?" The reason is clear and simple, most people don't know how to market correctly and no one has taken the time and effort to share this powerful method of marketing with them.

Most people I talk to say "I don't know how to write" and this may be a legitimate argument and why most people avoid writing altogether, but how do you know you can't write if you've never tried? As we've pointed out in some of our other writings, you learn to write by writing. The same is true with writing. The more you write the better you will become at writing. Let's talk for a moment about exactly what an article is and maybe this will help all of us to see the importance of writing articles. First of all an article is nothing more than information on any given subject from a different personal prospective. This can be anything from a basic concept to a very detailed technical description of something that is so complex the average person doesn't have a clue of what you're talking about.

I personally don't like the techie stuff, so I share my information on a very down to earth level that even my grandkids can relate to and many times they will share with me some of the most recent trends and lingo that will help me in my writings. This is an ongoing learning process that will never end. Learning is forever. Writing should be informative and entertaining for your readers.

I wasn't born with any special talents when it come to writing, in fact writing essays in high school and college was actually a major chore for me to do. Only after I got into online marketing did I realize that learning to write was one of the most important steps to this whole marketing process. The internet is all about information and the search engines place an incredible amount of weight on content in your website, blogs, forums, articles and other areas of correspondence including e-mails. So learn to enjoy the process of writing and experience the rewards that writings will give you in your "quest for success" online.

If you enjoy talking to people, then writing could well become a natural ability that you need to develop. One suggestion would be to write exactly as you talk …. Don't worry about using a bunch of high fluting words that no one understands what they mean anyway. Think of a subject and set down and start writing about how you feel about any issue, and be sincere about what you're thinking about and put those thoughts into writing. Once you've got the basic format written then go back and tweak your comments to a legible format and publish your writing online. You will be amazed how many people will read your writing and if you have a comment section in your article format then you'll be surprised at how many people will give you a good review just for your honest opinions.

On your first couple of articles you may want to write about something that you are totally passionate about. For example: If you're a gardener and have some helpful hints that will make someone else's gardening experience more memorable, then write about it and share your secrets with other gardening enthusiast.

You may want to write about helpful hints that will make your cleaning chores around the house easier and more sanitary. There have been some writers who have become extremely wealthy by writing and sharing helpful hints about natural cleaning aids. Don't try to prejudge what will work and won't work, just jump in with both feet and try your hand at writing. You'll soon learn how much fun and maybe even how profitable your knowledge really is. If you don't know how to write or maybe want some help in learning how to write more effectively, there are people who are more than willing to help you learn the art and science of writing.

The internet is all about providing information to users on about any subject you can think of. The internet is often referred to as the information highway. There are all kinds of individuals, groups, clubs and business who are now experiencing the values of the internet. Each of these entities have different needs and goals that they are trying to fulfill, however, they are all interested in obtaining information from this remarkable invention called the internet.

Playing games online has become an addiction for many teenagers and some of the older generation attempt to make a living by gambling online. Whether you're writing copy for your website, writing for blogs and forums or just sending out emails introducing your opportunity, the need for good copy must always be your top priority. Since you can't talk to people face to face and let your personality overcome any shortcomings in your presentation it's imperative that you learn to write a compelling, descriptive explanation that's acceptable to the general public and motivate them to make a choice of buying your product. Writing is the only option you have to close sales when marketing online.

If your copy is well written you have an excellent chance to capture the reader's attention and they will end up going to your site and reading the other good content you've written for your site.

By placing your links in the bio resource box at the end of your article you have about 300 characters to explain who you are and the links you want your reader to follow for more information about your business opportunity. Just like the content of your writing, you must make your information in the resource box interesting, non-threatening, compelling and inviting to the reader.

The purpose of the resource box is simple. The main objective of the resource box is to drive traffic to your website so the user who visits your site with the purpose of obtaining more information will eventually purchase your offering based on the content you've provided.

Blogging Your Way to Financial Freedom!

When you write a blog, do you make sure the title of your blog is keyword specific? Is your subject matter captivating enough to get the reader's attention and compelling enough to make the reader to actually read the information you are trying to share? Most blogs literally fail because the author of that blog has lost their passion about sharing good relevant content in their writings.

With all the blogs that have evolved over the last couple of years it's imperative that you keep your edge when writing quality information on any given subject. This scenario applies for writing to please your reading audience as well as being pleasing to the search engines. There is nothing easy when you're trying to convey your information in the form of blogs and forums. Make it a habit to optimize your blog each time you write just as you would if you were writing building a website.

This begins by using a couple of relevant keywords in the title of your blog. Just throwing some words in your title won't work, you must be keyword specific. It's extremely important to name your blog correctly the first time because there are no second chances to change your title once you've uploaded you blog on the internet.

You may want to use your geographic area in your blog title especially if you're trying to target market a particular area of the country. An example might be if you were blogging about a particular breed of dog. You could say something like: AKC Border Collie Puppies in Chicago Area. This is keyword specific regarding the breed of the dogs, AKC certified and sired in the Chicago IL area. This is about as specific as you can get.

It's best to use common ordinary English when explaining your product or service. Avoid the technical terms that are often used. Most people don't understand what all that techie jargon is about anyway. In a blog you can create some links in the content of your blog pointing to your business opportunity. If you're writing an article for posting in an article directory you must keep those links for posting in your bio area of the post. If you don't understand the importance of these differences then you should probably find a marketing specialist, mentor and coach to explain these differences.

Let me explain one simple reason for understanding this concept. Linking properly adds link value to your blog and website and if done correctly will help your page rankings with the search engines. Since the search engines love links and back links, you will see some rapid movements in your site positions changing by understanding how linking works. Make sure your blogs allows your links to be followed so they will be counted by the search engines.

Blogging can be a real complement to your website when you're promoting your business opportunity. Blogging is not a substitute when marketing but can and should work together effectively in all your marketing endeavors.

If you're a bit computer challenged it would behoove you to learn some HTML code. You don't need to become a master at building websites with all the flash and goodies, however, having a working knowledge of HTML code will make it easier for you to make some necessary changes to your source code without having to spend some high dollars on code experts if you need to do some minor tweaking on your blog, forum or website.

With a simple, effective blog you can earn some high page rankings with Google, Yahoo, Bing and other not so popular search engines by using quality links in your site and by incorporating RSS feeds for your readers. Most major blogging platforms support the use of RSS feeds. Use RSS feeds to your advantage.

Most blogs and articles are indexed just like a web page so make sure you construct your Title, Meta Description and Keywords in your source code correctly for the search engines. Placing links in your content area or in the footer is OK and should be pointing to your primary business website. Avoid using foreign links that have no value to your business opportunity.

You can use a blog to promote a press release and will remain on your blog much longer than the regular online press release which only last for maybe a couple of years. In your blog the press release can become a permanent link. You can gain a lot of credibility with a personal blog with good information. Many experts and reporters often follow good blogs, articles and forums.

Blogging is probably one of the most affordable methods for promoting on the internet that you can incorporate in your marketing strategies. There are many blogging platforms that are totally free and are extremely popular as well as powerful. If you look around you will see that some of the most popular reporters and experts are now using blogs not only to post current information but for their research as well.

I Apologize If I Offended Anyone...

I apologize If I offended anyone...

This was how I started an email that I wrote to my TEAM in my network marketing company. Apparently, I offended someone when on our weekly call I talked about people who just sit on the side lines and don't take action. The person actually wrote me and told me that they were not in the "trenches" so to speak but liked the fellowship that was provided on the calls. But the felt that I was being insensitive to the fact that they were not working their business. They let me have it, right between the eyes. I deserved it! 

BUT...

The point is that anyone who spends money and just sits on the sidelines is not doing a service to themselves. They are biding time! Wasting time is a foolish move since it is something that we cannot recover. When time is gone, it's gone. It has a huge lost opportunity and the measure of what might have happened will never be realized.

Now why do people sit on the side lines?

Well after I sent an apology to everyone on my team, I started getting emails from people who said, "I was not offended". I began to feel good about what I did and what had happened was people were actually taking notice of their business. I care about the people who are just sitting on the side lines, because they are people who maybe for some reason of another were lead astray.

The MLM/Network Marketing thought is to help the people who want help and let the ones who don't ask, wander in the dark. I have trouble with this concept. I think that if they spent their money, I should attempt to work with them. This is why so many people fail in the Network Marketing business, because the up-lines don't work with their people or attempt to do so. They just let them flounder along and ultimately they fail.

Why am I writing you this?

Because if you are someone who is just sitting on the side lines and want help you have several choices. You can take the initiative to call your up-line and ask for help or find a new company and start over the right way. Some times you have to "cut and run" to get ahead. I have done it before. How may times have you looked back and wished you had a resource to go to and get guidance?

I have been coaching people in business for over 30 years and have had great success with people who were to timid to ask for help, but wanted to really grow and achieve happiness and joy. If you are one that has not achieved your wants and dreams then you really should take a look at a new environment. Not every network business is right for everyone. You have to pick one that excited you and give you the motivation to want to really "bust out".

Having the right mentor is essential in getting off the ground in any business, but many people think that it cost lots of money. It does not! As a matter of fact when we mentor people and they join our company, there is no charge. But, we actually interview people to make sure we have a match with our team. This industry is not right for everyone, many people are afraid of success.

If you're into blogging there are a few things you need to be specific about in regard to the theme, presentation, and use of keywords, just to name a few. Consistency is vitally important if you want to keep your blogs earning "Top Positions on Google "and some of the other fine search engines. If you don't post to your blog on a regular basis your blog will soon become non effective, stagnant and die in popularity with users as well as search engines.

Most blogs fail because an individual loses interest and fails to post consistently to the blog with new information. Blogging is competitive if you do it right. There are over 70,000,000 blogs out there on the internet covering every subject imaginable. By narrowing your focus on your blog content to a specific subject, you can dramatically improve your page ranking, visibility and popularity with the users who follow your opportunity information on the web.

Many individuals don't realize a blog can become very popular online and gain high page rankings if treated like any other marketing campaign. You must optimize for the Search Engines on your blog just like you would if you're promoting a website or any other promotional campaign.

By using some simple strategies in your blog like … incorporating some keywords in the title of your blog can become very powerful. Once you establish your blog name, you don't have the option to change the name. You can create multiple blogs, so if one blog is not doing well, just create another blog. A well written keyword rich blog is what the search engines are looking for. The users will find your compelling blog without all the hype and fluff to be more acceptable and will be more likely to participate in your opportunity.

In a blog you can include some links in your content area. You may have the best description of your product or service that was ever written, however, if there is no reference to where the potential client can get hold of you, will make your blog as non-existent to the users as well as the search engines. Every link you put in your blog will be visited by the search engine spiders for indexing just like they are acceptable in your website. The blog can actually point a whole new segment of the internet masses back to your primary business website if done correctly.

Just like in a website, your blog must be search engine friendly as well as user friendly. A blog can be a tremendous complement to a website which can be linked together with other websites for some powerful linking strategies. Blogging is just another powerful marketing tool that can be implemented into your overall marketing strategies.

Blogging is an excellent form of marketing for the beginner. You don't need to know HTML code to make changes in a blog like you do in a website. You will save a lot of time and effort by using the blogs to your advantage. A simple change can be made in a blog without having to change any source code.

It'll be to your advantage to learn a bit about RSS feeds and implement those feeds into your blog. RSS is the acronym for Really Simple Syndication and will help your readers to keep up with your most recent blogs in real time with a simple click of the mouse on the feed icon. RSS will also allow you to put your syndication on auto pilot if you will, by allowing your content to appear in others areas such as other blogs, forum, websites etc. with back links back to your website. This will enhance your visibility with the search engines because of the links and back links involved. Most blogging platforms now support RSS feeds. Use them to your advantage.

Depending on which blogging platform you use, each blog may become a permanent link or it could be that your links will drop from the internet after a brief online stay. This may also be true with press releases that you put in your blog.

Blogs are a great way for you to become popular as an authority on a particular subject matter. You can personalize your campaigns, brand yourself or become the expert on any given subject matter and you will build a large following of like minded people who enjoy your opinions. It's entirely possible that other experts or reporters will refer to your blog as the place to learn about a specific subject. This is an excellent way for you to be able to go directly to your customer base without any type of media filters found in other type of communication.

The value of blogging is unlimited. Use this powerful marketing tool to promote your personal opinions, political arguments or just use this form of media to promote your business everyday by posting a short note about your product or service. Can Staying Healthy Help Senior Citizens Succeed?

Adequate Nutrients Within Calorie Needs

Consume a variety of nutrient-dense foods and beverages within and among the basic food groups while choosing foods that limit the intake of saturated and trans fats, cholesterol, added sugars, salt, and alcohol. Meet recommended intakes within energy needs by adopting a balanced eating pattern, such as the USDA Food Guide or the DASH Eating Plan.

For senior citizens or if over age 50. Consume vitamin B12 in its crystalline form (i.e., fortified foods or supplements). Vitamin B12 is known to help senior citizens with mental clarity.

Older adults,people with dark skin,and people exposed to insufficient ultraviolet band radiation (i.e.,sunlight). Consume extra vitamin D from vitamin D-fortified foods and/or supplements.

Senior Citizen Weight Management

To maintain body weight in a healthy range, senior citizens should try to balance calories from foods and beverages with calories expended. To prevent gradual weight gain over time, make small decreases in food and beverage calories and increase physical activity.

Those who need to lose weight. Aim for a slow, steady weight loss by decreasing calorie intake while maintaining an adequate nutrient intake and increasing physical activity.

Overweight senior citizens with chronic diseases and/or on medication. Consult a health care provider about weight loss strategies prior to starting a weight-reduction program to ensure appropriate management of other health conditions.

Physical Activity

Engage in regular physical activity and reduce sedentary activities to promote health, psychological well-being, and a healthy body weight. To reduce the risk of chronic disease in adulthood: Engage in at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity, above usual activity, at work or home on most days of the week.

For most people, greater health benefits can be obtained by engaging in physical activity of more vigorous intensity or longer duration. To help manage body weight and prevent gradual, unhealthy body weight gain in adulthood: Engage in approximately 60 minutes of moderate- to vigorous-intensity activity on most days of the week while not exceeding caloric intake requirements. To sustain weight loss in adulthood: Participate in at least 60 to 90 minutes of daily moderate-intensity physical activity while not exceeding caloric intake requirements.

Some people may need to consult with a health care provider before participating in this level of activity. Achieve physical fitness by including cardiovascular conditioning, stretching exercises for flexibility, and resistance exercises or calisthenics for muscle strength and endurance.

Senior Citizens may want to participate in regular physical activity to reduce functional declines associated with aging and to achieve the other benefits of physical activity identified for all adults.

Helpful Tips on Article Writing!

Not every article you write will be a cookie cutter style of the last one you wrote or any future article you may write. Depending on your thought process when you are writing will substantially influence the outcome of any article you write. This is especially true if you are writing from the heart rather than following an outline designed by someone else. There are some basics that all of us must follow when writing, however, when completed each of us will have a unique article that will reflect our true feelings about the subject matter at the very moment of our writing.

Depending on our individual writing styles a different outcome will evolve. If there was a group of a dozen writers and the group was requested to write an article on a given subject that must contained only one predetermined word, each of those articles would be uniquely different from their counterparts. My point here is simple. Each time you write you will have a basic style you will write in, but, your finished product will be totally different from your last writing.

I remember when I was learning to write we had 35 in the class and Butch Hamilton the SEO Master made us all write about the same topic. We all had to write an article per day about the word "Leads". We all had to use the same title specifically named "Leads"; however, it was amazing how diverse the content was on each of those 35 articles. Every day for seven full months each of us had to write about the subject of "Leads." This was an assignment that I personally took to heart and wrote and posted over 200 articles online during that class. Only nine out of the 35 followed the process and made the final cut. What a tremendous lesson on writing Butch conveyed to those who survived this awesome assignment. Thanks Butch!

There are multiple places you can post your writings online. Some are effective and other places are designed as place to post your articles and return little to no value for your efforts. One of the best places to post your writings is in Article Directories. There are multiple categories you can post to and you can become very selective by laser focusing your writings to one particular group of individuals who have a specific interest.

If you're going to use the all popular blogging medium to promote your writings, some experts say you should keep your writing a bit more condensed and limit your character count to somewhere between 300-500 words. However, there is not set rule here, and longer article are totally acceptable if you need to write more wordy content to get your point across. I personally post the same article on both blogs and to Article Directories.

The ultimate purpose of a blog and an Article Directory are somewhat different, however, good relevant content is what each of these entities must contain in order to be effective in promoting your business opportunity.

Some writers are emphatic about the title being the key ingredient for a successful writing, stating that the title is the one single item that captures the attention of the readers. This is true to some extent; however, some titles are a bit misleading because the title may have nothing to do with the actual subject matter of the article.

It is the opinion of this author that the length of the article is a non issue if the content is relevant keyword rich and has the ability to get your point across in a true and straight forward presentation. Having a wordy content doesn't mean that the author is more knowledgeable than someone who may write shorter articles. Sometimes lengthy articles will lose some effectiveness because the reader may become bored.

Use good common sense when writing and keep it as short as possible, however, make certain that your article follows the normal flow of presentation by capturing the reader's attention, creates a desire for your opportunity, generates a sincere interest in your product or service and leads the reader into a natural closing the sale situation where the user will want to participate in your opportunity.

The resource box at the end of your writing should contain your contact information as well as some links that points to your business opportunity. Don't overdo it with hyperlinks; in fact many directories will limit you to 2-3 links within the bio information area. If your writings are informative and appealing to the reader a couple of links here will be sufficient.

We mentioned earlier about posting your articles to Article Directories. This is an excellent way to build massive amounts of links and back links pointing to your website. Owning your own directory as a third level domain on your primary website is a powerful way to promote your business opportunity. Other seasoned authors will sign up as contributing authors in your directory and when a download is done from any of the articles in your Article Directory your permanent links will be on that download which could appear on literally hundreds of thousands of websites, forums and blogs all over the World Wide Web.

Is Your Website Optimized?

Most of the websites online today are not designed to do well with the search engines. Many web designers know how to put all the flash, scrolling text and fluff in a site but don't know how to optimize a site for the benefit of the search engines. As we've discussed in some of our other writings the algorithms in each search engine is a bit difference and unless you know what a particular search engine is looking for, it's nearly impossible to be lucky enough to stumble on exactly what you need to do to make your site work effectively when the search engines sends their spiders to gather your information for indexing.

With the ever changing algorithms by the search engines, it's difficult to keep up with all the changes in their indexing strategies. This is where you need to seek the advice of a professional who keeps abreast of these changes and knows how to implement the new changes quickly. Just having a good looking website is not going to cut it with the search engines, so you must understand what to do, how to do it and then continue your process of learning and implementing your new found knowledge into making your site totally optimized for the search engines.

When you're designing a site and to begin to put your site together, it's important to follow the search engine guidelines of optimization in this process or you will never be seen by the users on line or the search engines. I talked to a gentleman yesterday who had a lot of scrolling banners on his site and couldn't understand why he wasn't being found online. The answer is simple; the search engines don't see pictures, scrolling text, banners and all the flash you put on your webpage. That is for the users eye appeal only, and may be necessary eye candy for users, however, not appealing to the search engines. Unless you optimize for both the user and the search engines your site will probably go nowhere fast.

Recently I read some information that I thought said it best. If users "can't find you via the search engines, you may simply have a great looking billboard in a cornfield." I wish I knew who wrote that quote so I could give them credit, because they hit the nail right on the head with that statement.

A well optimized website design is an open invitation for the search engines to visit your site often and follow your links from one page to another, check your source code for accuracy, they will verify your keywords listed and make sure they are relevant to your site and that your site has met all the rules and guidelines of their algorithms. If all these segments of your site are in order then the search engines will move your page rankings to higher positions. This is an ongoing process, so don't get discouraged if your page ranking makes some rather drastic moves every couple of days until the search engines figures out exactly where your site should be positioned in their indexing.

One suggestion that will help the search engines to crawl your site quickly and effectively is to include a site map. This will make it much easier for the engines to see that you have followed their rules and guidelines regarding the headers, titles, Meta description, linked correctly and used your keywords strategically throughout your content. With this sitemap the search engine spiders will follow your map and index your site accordingly. All of these functions are in the source code of your site and not readily recognized by the everyday users who visit your site.

Many of these elements of your site are not even considered by most website designers and developers or webmasters and as a result your website will soon wither and become stagnant. If you're currently at this point in your website experience, then you need to seek the services of a trained optimization specialist who may be able to make some quick recommendations that will help your site move in rankings with the search engines. The secret here is to build your site for the users eye appeal, but include all the search engines recommendations so you can attain better popularity with both of these entities.

Keep in mind when building or optimizing your site to use language that the general public can understand. A well rounded website should be easy to read, understandable without all the techie phrases and be simple to navigate for the general audiences. If there is some technical information that you need to include, you can do that by creating another page in your site dedicated to only techie information that the more technical user can refer to.

Once you've followed the plan of design, built your site and uploaded it to your server what do you do next? The old saying "if you build it, they will come" was obviously not made by someone who is an experienced website promoter.

At this point in this venture, your work has just begun. You must now work hard to get your site to appear online when a search query is made by a user for one of your keywords. You must build a list of potential clients that you can mail information to about your product or services. You must build links and back links to your business. These are functions that must become second nature to you in your everyday marketing activities.

This is a process that can be accomplished in two different ways. One is that you can learn the process and use your knowledge to promote any new opportunity you want for the rest of your life. The second options is to hire the services of someone who has already went through the process of studying, learning and consistently uses their knowledge to earn organic search engine rankings. You can follow either one of these paths, or you can do some combination of the two. This choice is totally up to each individual situation. How To Quit Your Way To Success
Many times people in Network Marketing join a company with the idea of making quick dollars fast. This concept is one that plagues over 90% of the people who join MLM/ Network Marketing. As a result of this mindset these people end up fueling the coffers of many Network Marketing companies instead of reversing the momentum and making money for themselves.

By joining a network marketing company and building a downline instead of a team, you are not building an asset but a liability. Liabilities make the network marketing companies rich and not the team builder.

Look at it this way, you build a downline of a few people and you decide that you are not making headway fast enough then someone else comes along and tells you that there is more money in joining their company faster so you leave your existing company and then go to the new one. When you persuade the members of your downline to leave and go to another company now the new company gets the initial sign-up money that is paid out.

So now the old company got your initiation cost that was paid and the new company gets new money for their initiation cost, so now two companies have made money on the same person. And this process goes on and on. Every time you join a new company in the Network Marketing Industry the forward motion of the old company is stopped, and you are having to start the forward motion all over again to gain momentum.

What is needed is to reverse this action and make the money for yourself. By reversing this action and staying put in your existing company you will be practicing "Reverse Momentum".

What is meant by "Reversing Momentum"?

Building a Team in a Network Marketing Company requires that you begin to build, and as you build you begin to start the compounding process of attracting new people on to your team. As you build your team the team members begin to reach out to others and start to attract others that you don't know, nor will ever know.

This is the positive momentum that you want to reach in networking which begins to build you're team over time. As the momentum increases your income increases along with the specific team members that are excited about growing their business. Everything becomes contagious.

By taking the money that you would spend to hop from one company to another and put it into your current company growth you will increase your momentum and your team will build faster. You are putting your money into your business when you invest into the same company, and build your team instead, of always putting your money into a new company. Every time you do this you halt momentum and have to start over again.

Look at it this way, if you were building a snowball you have to roll it and pack it, then roll it and pack it, until it is solid enough to keep rolling and rolling till it becomes a huge snowball. If you stop and leave that snowball alone and go do it again you never get out of the rolling and packing stage. The one you left gets smaller or does nothing and as the weather get warmer it melts then when the weather gets cold again the snowball is smaller. The bigger the snowball is the easier it will stay in tact through the warm spells and then as you keep rolling you get bigger and bigger with many more people on the team rolling the snowball.

The secret is to use the power of compounding and let it work for you instead of working for the network marketing company. It's impossible to "Quit Your Way To Success" but for some strange reason people think that they can. Quitters never win! It's a proven fact but ignored by many. 

The secret is to find a good company and a good team to join, then interview them and see if you are all of like mind and can work together. Treat your network marketing business as a business and not a sideline. Get a good mentor that knows what they are doing and quiz them about their successes. Leave no stone unturned.
