Advertising:
Did you ever ask yourself, why does some businesses thrive online and others just can't seem to get off the ground?? At one time or another most of us have pondered this question. Did you ever see a Coke commercial? Sure we all have seen their ads. Coke Super Bowls ads are fantastic. Those ads are expensive....but extremely powerful. If Coke is #1 in the soft drink industry, why do they have to advertise so much? They must keep their name before the general public to stay #1....or someone else will advertise better than they do and take over their clients and capture the soft drink market which Coke have dominated for years.
If large companies like Coca Cola, Wal Mart and Sears must advertise to maintain their market share, what makes the small business man or woman think they don't have to follow big business examples in advertising? Let's face it....the large companies have more advertising dollars at their disposal to accomplish their advertising objectives, however, the small home based business must reinvest back into their business if that business person expects to have a chance of marketing their business online.
Different Advertising Methods:
There are a number of different ways a business can advertise. Word of mouth is the most effective way to get the word out about your business offering. However, if no one knows you're on the internet, how is anyone going to know that you have something to offer. Then the question is....how can one get the word out? Simply advertise your business opportunity every single day. Consistently, everyday let the world know who you are and that you have something that may be of interest to them. You can do this by writing articles, blogging, social networking or any other media that you feel comfortable with.
Google It:
You can think of almost any subject and "Google It" and this will allow you to search and study numerous programs on the internet, some promising to get rich quick within a matter of hours. We all know that is not true, however, many people fall for the unscrupulous advertising tactics of the charlatans. Don't fall for just anything, do your research....the more you study the various offerings the better you will become in finding the good information necessary to make an informed choice.
I don't know of any corporation or business that was built overnight. It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears for any company to get to become a major player in their business field. Consistency is the key to successful online marketing.
Consistent Promoting:
A continuous flow of quality approachable contacts will be the reward of consistent writing and promoting your business opportunity. As we have discussed in recent articles having leads of potential clients is imperative for your business to succeed in this competitive world of internet marketing. You probably are asking yourself right now, how does one go about finding a legitimate program to accomplish such an arduous task? You can do a Google search and come up with any number of sites that will hype their program as the very best. That's understandable, their one and only purpose is to sell something to make them money. Isn't that what marketing is all about? Any program that you find online just make sure you review that program carefully making sure the program fits into your particular business plan and can be applied to your business future.
Need Direction:
The real question should not be....how much money do I need to spend or how many programs do I need to purchase to accomplish my internet marketing goals, but the question should be how can you find that program or combination of programs that has been proven to be the most effective yet affordable marketing combination. I spent five years looking for that special something that would satisfy my marketing needs for my personal business. I spent untold hours and thousands of dollars in that five year period on every type of program that sounded half way decent. That really taught me a serious lesson. My problem was, I had no direction, no compass, no one to show me what to do....I was grasping for anything that might help me learn the process. When you first start down this road of internet marketing, it seems we all go through some degree of blindness in this search for that ultimate marketing system.
